Mike is one of four siblings; one younger brother and two younger sisters who were all born and raised in Huntingtown in a Law Enforcement environment. Mike's father, Ted Evans is a retired Maryland State Police Lt. Colonel and his mother Audrey B. Evans, a former Clerk of the Circuit Court for Calvert County now reside in Dowell, Maryland.
Mike enjoys weightlifting, golf and swimming. His favorite hobby is spending time with his family and four grandchildren.
Mike has been married for 42 years to Susan who works at the Calvert County Detention Center. Mike and Susan have two sons, Eric and Charlie.
Eric (38) is a Senior Trooper with the Maryland State Police assigned to the Leonardtown Barrack. Eric married Traci Payne in 2008 and have a son, Mason and a daughter, Maddyn.
Charlie (36) obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. He achieved the rank of Corporal with the Maryland State Police in 2012, Sergeant in 2017 and is assigned to the Prince Frederick Barrack. Charlie and Cassie have a daughter, Sophia and a son Chase.
Eric and Charlie enjoy spending time with their families and enjoy the sport of weightlifting.
